The Upham Pub Company is a pub company like no other. We are a company that specialises in fabulous pubs, expertly designing and furnishing each one of them to suit the setting and the surroundings they are in. Whilst no two pubs are the same, they all have the passion to deliver excellent food and exemplary service – at all times.

You will be supported at all times by an experienced Head Chef and Pub Manager and a strong and knowledgeable team of individuals behind the scenes – all of whom have a great deal of experience working in this ever-changing industry.

Key Sous Chef duties include:

  • Responsibility for the running of the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef
  • Assisting in the recruitment, management and development of the Kitchen team
  • Wastage control
  • Health and Safety monitoring
