Upham Inns are a unique collection of beautifully restored pubs and inns with heritage back to the 16th Century. Every Upham Inn is relaxed, welcoming and individual, combining an informal pub and high-quality country style dining, serving flavoursome British classics with seasonal tastes and regional specialities. Most of our pubs are located in beautiful countryside with gardens and terraces for a summer’s day and the cosy warmth of roaring fires for the heart of winter. Our cosy bedrooms are as unique as the pubs they are in, combining individually designed country charm with all the modern facilities required to ensure a comfortable stay whatever the occasion.

Depending on the location there are three room rates for each hotel:
Cosy – smaller rooms but still charming
Comfy – our typical room size
Indulgent – unique feature rooms with extra space
Our locations at the Bunk (Newbury) and Navigator (Harpers Southampton) share the same standard facilities as the other hotels in our group, but the building style is more lodge style than our other pubs.
Our rooms are ideal for a wide range of individual needs, from a weekend retreat, a family break, a business or leisure stopover, or a base to visit friends and family in the area. Whatever the reason, you can be assured of a comfortable and high-quality experience.

Or indulge with our bed and breakfast package. Select your choice from our menu of hearty freshly cooked breakfast options, accompanied by a selection of continental items and your unlimited choice of fresh juice, Moon Roast artisan coffee or Twinings tea.
EARLY BIRD?
If you are up before us just let us know the night before & we’ll sort a grab & go continental brekkie, with a take away cup for a hot drink from your room.
FANCY A LIE IN?
We’ll be packing up our continental range at 11am but if you have booked a bed & breakfast rate you can swap your hot option to your choice from our shorter brunch range with a cup of tea or coffee til 2.30pm Mon-Sat
Dog Friendly Rooms
Ask us for a selection of scenic walks nearby just a bones throw away.
We believe that dogs are part of the family and there is no need to leave any four legged guests behind for your staycation. We have created special packages for overnight stays in our bedrooms that we have designated as dog-friendly.
Complete with their own doggy bed, blanket, bowl and welcome box of tasty treats, up to a maximum of two dogs per room can stay with you, where available, for £20 per pet, per night.
